St. Michael, Beer Hackett (May 2008)
Beer Hackett is a small village just to the north of Yetminster. The church is a Victorian rebuild, the majority by Crickmay in 1882, the tower by Ponting in 1897. Newman and Pevsner note that old parts of masonry were used in the rebuilding and that the font is octagonal and of Perpendicular style. I was unable to check the latter because the church building has not been open when I have tried to visit. There are good views from the south side of the church towards Yetminster and Bubb Down.
