Burton (Church of St. Luke)

St Luke's Church, Burton (January 2016)

Described in the most recent Pevsner volume (O'Brien, et al.) as follows:

ST LUKE. 1874-5 by Benjamin & Edmund B. Ferrey. Red-brick, early Dec style with plate tracery in its mostly two-light windows, bellcote on a thin buttress. No aisles but porch and vestry on S side. The chancel must orginally have had a W as well as an E arch.
