Bells:
10, 19-1-20 in E.
Hutchins (1861, p. 49) records an interesting story about the
bells:
Tradition says here were eight bells, which were lost
at sea about a league hence, as they were carrying into Holland, having
been ordered to be sold in the reign of Edward VI. by the Duke of Somerset
to fortify the town.
